Why Ladeebug you ask? When choosing a business name I wanted to reflect my approach to photography. Ladybugs represent the playful nature and purity of the moment. Regardless of age we are intrigued and a little excited when we see them. No two ladybugs are alike. I try to create personalized images for people that reflect their true nature.
I often hear people say, “I don’t look good in pictures”. My goal is to provide an image of you that you genuinely enjoy. By providing you and your loved ones with a comfortable environment, I’ll help you discover that photography can be a fun experience rather than a painful chore. Candid expressions come more easily when you feel free to be yourselves. If you are feeling reluctant or like the session could be stressful for any number of reasons (self-consciousness, anxiety, differently-abled, fussy infant, tired caregivers, family members on the spectrum, or general adversity to being photographed) then I am the photographer for you. I can engage any subject with sensitivity and patience. I also have basic ASL.
I see the world in pictures and have a passion for capturing the beauty in all my subjects. Over twenty five years ago I photographed my first wedding; ever since, I have embraced the joy of creating images that capture the most significant times in the lives of my clients:
